i like to walk everywhere and see all the things that are waiting to be seen. i need to look even if i often don't like what i find. some things get stuck in my mind where they mingle, tangle and sometimes battle with whatever else they encounter already in there. some things fight their way out again and forcibly assert themselves back onto the world. thats what my paintings are. memories, scraps of paper, pieces of discarded furniture, fragments of conversations, moments of quiet contemplation tempering the storm. thats what i like to think anyway, perhaps i just like colours and shit.
